the aroma is of spices and dried fruit and has a granular and crumbly structure.
Thanks to its characteristics, it is great to be eaten on its own, as an aperitif or a delicious meal ending.
Here below we propose a few classic combinations for tasting this extraordinary cheese in the best way.
A sliver of 30 month Parmareggio is great if accompanied with:

a few drops of Traditional Modena or Reggio Emilia balsamic Vinegar
a spoon tip of cherry compote or fruit mostarda.
a thread of chestnut honey or dark fir honey.
a fragment of dry fruit: nuts, hazelnuts, prunes and dried figs.
In order to complete tasting we recommend combining Italian wines from the area of origin such as
Lambrusco Doc and the Malvasia Doc, but also passito wines or red structured wines such as the
Brunello di Moltancino and the Sangiovese Superiore.
